The Basics - Baby Purees
Updated: Jan 27
When a baby first transitions to solids you make them the basics, sweet potato, banana, apple... but even for a baby, that can get boring. So I experimented with lots of different blends, some were delicious, some...not so much. But the ones that were delicious, Havana devoured! So here's a few combos that are delicious & (bonus) nutritious!

PREPARATION: I use the Baby Beaba (bought from West Coast Kids) I love it because it steams, blends & purees! For all the below blends I cut up the ingredients - portion size is based off how much your baby eats, every baby is different so you know baby best! You can never go wrong with making more and freezing it for future use! I try to use equal parts (ie. half an apple, a handful of kale, a handful of blueberries, half a plantain etc.) then you simply steam then blend them together until a puree is created!
The beauty of purees is you can try so many different combos. When you're mixing fruit & veggies, it's hard to go wrong. The most important thing to remember is your baby will be getting delicious food without any extra additives. Enjoy! xo
As you can see below, Havana clearly approved :)
